I’m happy to share these genuine Massachusetts foliage textures today. These were created by simply collecting a bunch of leaves off of the ground and scanning them. For most of these textures I set some vintage paper behind the leaves before scanning, and I think that paper adds a great subtle backdrop that compliments to leaves nicely. This is a great example of how you can find resources and inspiration literally in your own backyard. Each one of these is very high resolution at about 3000×4000. Enjoy!
In Case You Missed It…
A few days ago I posted this wallpaper on the Valleys In The Vinyl Facebook Page. I used one of these leaves textures as the foundation. For anyone that would like to download it (for free of course), you can get it here. It is sized at 2560×1600.
I hope you all enjoy these, and feel encouraged to leave feedback here or on the Facebook page. I plan on creating more seasonal texture packs in the future.
