20 Frosted Window Textures

January 04 , 2012

These 20 beautiful and useful textures come from the frost that was on the glass door of my house this morning. It was an example of life’s little surprises. The sun was shining towards the glass, and adjusting my camera’s ISO settings and shutter speed allowed me to create a variety of effects on the same pane of glass. There is some beautiful color and pattern variations that allow these textures to function on their own or as a complimentary element. Some other possible uses could be adding some aging to photos or creating some light subtle grunge textures. Some of them look a bit like old film. Each one is 4500×3000, enjoy!
