A look back on 2011, from the birth of the site through what is coming up in the future.
After Christmas, I had a collection of pieces of tissue paper lying around so I figured why not make use of them. Each one of these are super hi-res at 3000×4100.
Even though I just recently released a pack of bokeh textures, the other night I took some killer bokeh photos of my Christmas tree, so I thought it would be a great idea to release them before Christmas.
These textures were created by mixing some rust, paper, and nature textures. I wanted to create a feeling of organic and earthy grunge.
These visually stimulating grungey bokeh texture pack will make a valuable addition to your texture collection. I mixed bokeh photographs with out-of-focus tree branch photos, as well as some vintage paper and other textures to create these.
Ralph Steadman, the Gonzo Artist, is one of my personal favorite illustrators/artists. Steadman’s work has such a raw energy to it that makes it impossible to ignore. I wanted to try and capture that raw energy and spontaneous creation.
I recently bought this old New Testament book because it had a lot of great personality. This set contains the book covers, and some internal pages, both blank and with text.
Enjoy this set of 10 vintage postcards. They will add some genuine age and personality to your work, as well as the potential usage as templates.
I’m pleased to release these 5 highly useful and exciting textures. These will instantly add some great aging and surface effects to your work.
This week’s grab bag has 5 more colorful and diverse textures for your use and inspiration.
