One good thing that came out of the blizzard and electrical blackout in New England this past weekend was the opportunity to make the first fire of the season. I took out my camera and snapped some of these pictures because the random forms and vibrant orange colors were gorgeous.
These textures were made my saturating some vintage papers with water, then adding watercolors, regular paints, and food coloring then letting them dry out.
