Ralph Steadman, the Gonzo Artist, is one of my personal favorite illustrators/artists. Steadman’s work has such a raw energy to it that makes it impossible to ignore. I wanted to try and capture that raw energy and spontaneous creation.
These textures were made my saturating some vintage papers with water, then adding watercolors, regular paints, and food coloring then letting them dry out.
Enjoy this super-pack of watercolor shapes, streaks, blotches, and patterns. Just like all of my other textures, they are at least 2000 pixels long or wide, making them suitable for any web, print, or imaging project.
You’re going to have a blast finding ways to use these beautiful and unique brushstroke textures. This pack has a great range of color, weight, pattern, and form that allows these to have a huge range of usability.
